Baseball Bats Gloves

Best Baseball Batting Gloves/cleats?
Hey guys, thanks for the help. I am a high school baseball player. All the cleats I have worn do not have good ankle support and hurt my heels. Also, I go through batting gloves very quickly because of ripping, loss of grip, etc. Which batting gloves/cleats do you recommend?
It sounds as though you have weak ankles. If your ankles buckle on you too easily then that rules out all cleats that don’t come above your talus (ankle bone). You would want cleats that look more like basketball high tops. That way, if you roll your ankle you have support and have less stress on your ligaments when you roll your ankle. Now, your heel pain may be related to tightness in your achilles tendon. That tendon is in the back of your ankle and ends at your heel. Stretch it by putting one leg in front of you and one behind and then come up to a wall and push against the wall until you feel stretching in your calf and your achilles tendon. Do this for both legs. When you are looking for cleats, you should look for cleats that go above the ankle bone and have pads that are comfortable for you. For batting gloves, I like the “Shok Sorb” batting gloves. Look them up on the internet. Good luck during the baseball season and I hope that you find cleats and batting gloves that help improve your performance. Good luck!
